Abdulhakem Alhajji is a sustainability and environmental leader with over 15 years of experience leading sustainability transformation and environmental performance across the energy and industrial sectors. He has worked across engineering consulting, owner-operator, oilfield services, and national and international drilling organizations, providing a unique perspective on integrating sustainability into complex, asset-intensive businesses operating across multiple jurisdictions.

As the Group's Sustainability Manager at ADES, Abdulhakem leads the Company's global sustainability agenda, driving ESG governance, climate strategy, environmental stewardship, and sustainability disclosure across its international operations. His work has established enterprise-wide sustainability governance, strengthened ESG data and reporting frameworks, advanced decarbonization planning, and embedded sustainability into business planning, operational performance, and executive decision-making.

His experience extends from environmental engineering and regulatory compliance to corporate sustainability, climate governance, ESG ratings, and business transformation. He has led initiatives including enterprise greenhouse gas accounting and assurance, sustainability integration following international expansion and acquisitions, ESG readiness for capital markets, and the development of sustainability strategies aligned with internationally recognized frameworks.

Before joining ADES, Abdulhakem held environmental and HSE leadership roles with SLB, Saudi Aramco, and Jacobs Engineering, contributing to major industrial, infrastructure, and energy projects across Saudi Arabia.

His work is driven by the belief that sustainability delivers its greatest value when it becomes part of how an organization is governed, operated, and measured. Alhajji is interested in bridging the gap between corporate sustainability and operational execution, focusing on turning ESG ambitions into practical systems, strengthening governance and data quality, improving environmental performance, and helping organizations prepare for evolving regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
